Intended to create a new sense of involvement

«An exhibition of paintings by Estonian painter and graphic artist Margus Veisveer is open at the Kohtla-Järve gallery “White Hall”. Usually, museums and art galleries prohibit the public from touching the exhibits, but in this case there is one exception: Margus Veisveer even invites visitors to touch one of the works, namely, his self-portrait. We are used to poking our smartphone screens with our fingers, turning on the connections that interest us; symbolically touching not the screen, but the painting, is intended to create a new sense of involvement with artistic creation.»
